Photographer, editor, managing editor.

The photographer takes the images

The editor sorts out which images will go in the mag

the managing editor has the final word on what goes in or is published in the mag.

It is never a single person responsible for all aspects unless it is a very very small publication indeed.

The majority of the time with larger magazines, the photography will be commissioned from freelancers, there will be different editors per department and the one responsible for final publication will be called anything from chief editor to publishing editor.

Depending on the type of publication and photoshoot there could be a load more people involved from art directors through to set designers and lawyers.

There is no one name for that.

Most people can't do all of those, unless you're a really small business or doing a magazine for a small school or something.
