Oil Spill Honeymoon in West Caribbean?
My Fiance and I are taking a cruise to the Western Caribbean in November. As the second part of our honeymoon. I was hoping an informed person could tell me if there have been any predictions on how this is going to affect the Caribbean Islands. Our two major destinations points are George Town and the Cayman Islands. I really apprecate your help.

Right now there are no indications that the oil spill will affect the places that you will cruise to. The concern right now is the gulf coast and the possibility that the oil will get into the Gulf stream and proceed to go around Florida's Keys and up the east coast.
Its unlikely that the Caymans or Cozumel will be affected unless there is a hurricane that changes the direction that the oil is predicted to flow. Actually the oil would have to go a long way south past Cuba to get to the Caymans. And it would have to make its way through a channel between Cuba and the Yucatan peninsula to get to Cozumel.
