    not exactly.

The AF has canceled all their non rate boards this year and have not as yet scheduled any for next year but they are still accepting applications and held at least one Rated Board(Pilot) .

the CG has halted all recruiting until 1 october.

the Navy is accepting applications but have not held all their selection boards

Marines and Army are accepting ap[lications but less than 50 % of all qualfiied packets have been accepted in recent months. just a few years ago Army was taking 100% of all qualified applicants.

It is not true. Every day people leave the Army and every day our recruiters work to put people into the Army. Recruiting is very good at the moment and we likely have a very good back log, but that doesn't mean we have every slot filled.

I would ask your local recruiter they would know for sure .
