Isn't it weird that most songs used to be about dancing but now most of them are about sex?

In my opinion, music will keep getting worse.

I barely listen to any mainstream artists/music because of that.

Its usually about: drugs, sex, or money.

Well this has been going on since the 50's. The record company found out that sex sells and that's always going to be the main point to most songs.

Most songs about dancing *were* about sex. What do you think "rock & roll" means? Most pop music has been thinly-veiled innuendo since the very day it started.

well its kinda true, specially janet jackson songs...

but you know i actually dont care about the lyrics, i dont give a damn what artists sing because i judge the songs to their instrumentals. They are my favorite songs because i like the way they sound

uhm yea and its so effin annoying! im 17 and because of this type of music teens are really doing some of these sexual things and growing up so fast!!! esp girls, its like they have no self respect anymore and jus go out and act like sluts and then guys these days are soooo disrespectful towards us women and girls, they act like we are to please them in every way shape and form! and we have to look perfect in order to make them happy. its so sickening.

Not true at all. A lot of songs back from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s were about sex. I mean one of the first Beatles hits was "Please Please Me".
