How do I prepare a bass for a taxidermist?

Like what would i do... freeze it if so for how long?

And how much would mounting a smallmouth cost?

    on all of my mounts i never even take the fish in... i just get measurements of them and a good pic and give the numbers and such to the taxidermist and they can recreate ur trophy! and look better than real mounts ( i think)

    Know nothin' bout' procedures for mounting fish ie., catch & release be part of my constitution but, co$t will depend on the taxidermist/experience/quality of work and where his or her location is ~ I've heard that it runs anywhere from 12 ta' 15 buck$ a' linear inch;)... < * { {{ > <
