Is getting a job now like winning the lottery?

i saw this question asked here a year ago with only one response, and I feel it's even more apparent today.

    If having the right numbers means you won the lottery, then being in the right place at the right time will help you get the job.

    Depends on what field/area you are trying to get a job in. Yes it is difficult, I'm a nurse and a lot of people who are graduating from nursing school are having a hard time finding jobs, some are having to move out of state
