What were your last words before leaving home this morning?

And is it pretty much the same, every morning?

"Hold the fort, Sadie-Sadie."

Said to Sadie the Wonderdog. And as an FYI, the fort has never fallen on Sadie's watch.

Charlotte hasn't left yet. I usually say, "Mama loves her pretty girl" to my lil Chihuahua when I leave. She is a far cry from Sadie, I assure you. ♥

Well, I start each morning by saying good morning to each of the cats and dogs (because we're the first ones up) and after I kiss my wife goodbye I say bye to each of them on my way out the door.

Unfortunately, with my dogs I can't be sure what would happen if someone ever broke into the house. The bigger one would probably show them where the silverware is (she's that friendly and eager to please). The smaller one would bark (not yap) menacingly as he doesn't like strangers, but I'm not sure if he would attack. And the cats would probably ignore the intruders completely.

usually i ask if the door is locked, today was a bit different tho, as i was walking out my boyfriends son decided he needed to pee and did his business on the front porch instead of in the bathroom, i guess when you gotta go, you gotta go, hes 3 so it was better than in his pants.

Everyone is still asleep when I'm leaving in the morning. It would be weird if I'd begin talking to myself when leaving home, don't you think ?!
