Didn't attend National Honor Society induction ceremony!?
I was accepted into the National Honor Society, but I couldn't go to the induction ceremony because my grandmother had to be rushed to the hospital and I didn't want to leave her side.
What will happen now? Am I still a member?

You should still be a member. At my school, they wanted you to be there, but it wasn't required. Plus, that is an emergency. They should understand

communicate on your preparation counselor to be sure whether mom and father in many circumstances come to those ceremonies. If it is during faculty hours, it is going to probable be an assembly, and there won't be vacant seats.
