do i need an itunes account for my ipod to charge?

my iphone won't charge on the regular charger, so i thought to use the computer charge. but, it won't connect. is my ipod crashed or do i have to have an itunes account for it to work?

    nope you dont need an account.

    No, you don't need an account to charge your ipod, you should be able to connect it the the computer and it should automatically begin charging, if not, then there should be a problem with the cable or something.

    Nope, not all. You only need one if you plan on buying songs, apps, or videos off of iTunes.

    No, you just need to connect your iPod to computer, it will charge your iPod.
