Which straightener to choose out of all these ones for a silky no-freeze finish?

I know the CHI and Babybliss are quite popular but I got a CHI like 3 years ago and broke so quickly I am not buying another one in a while.

So I decided I want to buy a cheaper brand but I still want the best possible one.

My hair tends to get spongy and sometimes freezy, which one should I buy to avoid this: CONAIR, REVLON, WET2STRAIGHT or GAMMA?

I love how the pink Conair and the white Conair Infinity look, but I def want the most effective one.

Any advice?

Out of the ones you listed, I'd say Wet2Straight & then Revlon (they're very basic, but get the job done). The Wet2Straight is by Remington, and their straighteners are really good. I had the Teflon one for two years (well, I used it for two years, I still have it though) and it worked the same as the first day I got it. I really liked it, plus it protected my hair.

For $60, I'd go with a GVP from Sally Beauty. It's supposed to be the knock off of a Chi, but its so much better. It doesn't fry your hair thanks to the heat controls & it leaves my hair pin straight.. and it lasts like that until my next wash.

And for $100+, I'd go with a Sedu. I didn't want to believe the hype, but it really does work. It gets my hair pin straight & it stays like that until my next wash.

Honestly, if you're looking to spend under $100, the GVP & Remington will get the job done (as in preform well) & they're durable and will last.

I've never heard of "Gamma" & Conairs are crappy quality (I've heard). Plus I've seen it first hand with my friend's hair clippers. They broke in less than two months and its not like they were the cheapo ones either. I agree that Conair looks cute, but I don't think it'd be worth it.

Ps, make sure to use a heat protectant. It will not only protect your hair, but help to control frizz & help make your hair look even better. It really does make a difference, even though a good straightener matters as well. For a serum, I suggest John Frieda's Frizz Ease Thermal Protection serum & if a spray is more your forte, then Dove's thermal mist (red spray bottle) or Tresemme's Heat Tamer Spray. Although I've never tried them, I heard that Chi Silk Infusion & Chi's Iron Guard 44 Spray are pretty good as well.

    Hope I helped & good luck! :]

Hey I have tried ALL of these straightners before. They work fine but you might want to try a Paul Mithchel hair straightner. My hairdresser recomend this one and it works wonders!! So I know its pricey but its really worth it!
