what do i need for a 5.0 convesion on a 98 mustang?
i have a 98 mustand 3.8 and im doing a swap i have motor,computer,wiring. What else do i need ??????????

First off the 5.0 litter was not offered in 98 so if you have emission testing were you live that could be a problem. Its also allot of work and would be more practical just to sell the car and buy one with a V8.

Transmission, clutch kit if going manual, torque converter if you're going automatic, 8.8 rearend, driveshaft, K-member under the engine from a 94 or 95 5.0, fuel system needs to be routed or plumbed if using all new aftermarket parts, fuel pump, cooling system needs to be upgraded, and susprnsion.

A transmission, engine mounts, a driveshaft. Such a huge job.
It's a 98, just sell yours and get a 5.0, keep the engine for spare parts.
