do the liberal eco-nuts not see their part in the oil spill?
the oil rig was so far out in the deep waters becaues of the eco-nuts in the first place because they threw such a hissy fit about the rigs being closer to land,by demanding that they go to deep water they forced these inherant and unneccessary risks upon the drilling process.
You are not seeing that factor being pointed out much, and you will never get a liberal eco freak to admit to their very own share of the responsibility for putting this is a position to actaully happen. If this oil rig had been in normal depths they would have been able to stop this days ago,but now because it is in such deep water like the eco-nuts demanded they are having a very diifiult time stopping it because of the depth and the pressures of deep sea operations.

Wait, so the fact that there isn't a standard shut-off valve on the ocean floor...that is the eco-nuts fault.
Jeez. It is ok to blame the people responsible and not make this a political jab. Seriously, BP ran a shoddy operation. Many of our offshore oil rigs do not have what for me is the most basic thing: A shutoff valve on the ocean floor. It is easy, it is ok.
Also, by the way, the reason these oil rigs are so far out is because that is where the oil is at. You are right about some Pacific wells and some closer to Texas. But these wells are out that far to get the oil, not just because of distance to coast laws.

Nonsense
If the companies that drill their wells in deep water were not 100% positive that they knew exactly how to stop a leak of this magnitude and had all of the protocols and equipment in place should such a leak occur ,then they had no business drilling the wells in the first place

Please name one "eco-nut" who:
forced this rig into deep water
forced BP to not have working redundant shut off valves
forced BP to bypass and ignore proper safety protocols
forced Bush to stock the MMS with oil/gas industry toadies
opposes stronger regulation of these dangerous oil rigs

Liberals can do no wrong, don you see that yet?
As long as the National media is run by liberals, we will not discuss the destructive nature of Environmentalists, the truth is they don't care about the environment, they care about absolute power belonging to the federal government

Comrade Obuma has declared that this was ANOTHER thing he inherited from the previous administration. To the left that means end of story or in short "Bush's Fault"

Great, with that line of logic I'm sure you can find some way to pin blame on the Jews for the Holocaust. Trust me, I live right off the Gulf and if the oil drill wasn't that far out, and this explosion happened, the entire Gulf Coast would be screwed.

That, and this was a PLANNED spill. It was done to destroy the oil industry.
