I hear about a 15% credit and a 30% credit. What is difference? Are credits for 2010 and 2011?

Credits were for 2009 and 2010. 2 years to get 30% credit of up to $1500 for home improvements.
Solar requires big bucks and runs til 2016.

each of the energy credits has a different amount, check the appliance you are planning to install, in some cases they are only credits so if you don't have a tax liability, you don't reap anything--happened to me
