Not just another does he like me question.?

Question

I like this guy at my school and i told my teacher who is like a second mom to me that I liked him. Well she hinted to him and he finally guessed that i liked him. I was talking to him and we got onto the subject of her telling him and I asked him if he wanted to forget the whole thing happened and he said "no it just took me by surprise, if you are patient with me I just need to think things through" 

What do you think this could mean?

he's thinking if he likes you too, which he prob does because he wanted time to think. If he didnt have thought he wouldve wanted to put it behind.

this probably means that he likes you back too, but hes preoccupied right now. maybe something with his family or a girlfriend issue. if hes bothering to tell you to be patient, then be patient and something will happen!

He might like you, and he might not.  It's hard to decide with guys.  Best to just wait it out, but don't get your hopes up too high.  And if he asks you out, all the better.
