You get 1 point per vote. Go to the category you want.Click "in voting" in the category you want.
Open the question you want to vote.
Click the blue button under the answer you want to vote for

yes you get 1 point per question voted for. but there is a limit. you just click on the wee button that says vote at top of page

click your avatar.go to nyour questions and vote.have to wait four hours before you can vote.you get 3 points back for choosing a best answer
