Chad Dawson vs. Andre Dirrell, how would it turn out at light heavyweight?

How would this matchup go with Dirrell never fighting at 175 before? Both men seem to fade towards the end of the fight. Dawson's last few bouts were against much older opposition, so how would he do against a younger and more energetic opponent, who looked impressive against Abraham despite the outcome?

Actually i dont think Dirrell fades at the end of fights like Chad Dawson, they are both fast, but i think Dirrell has the edge in power because Dawson has not had a KO since he fought Mendoza about 3 years ago, and the move up in weight would not effect Dirrell because he is really the same size as Dawson who also came from super middleweight his self.

I like Dirrell by UD as he out points and discourages Dawson from throwing combos due to Dirrell's better footwork, head movement, and effective counter punching.

Dirrell would beat Dawson, the Direll saw school Abraham was world class, Dawson would lose a decision against that fighter provided Dawson lasted the distance.

I have trouble thinking Dirrell has what it takes to go and take the belt from Dawson with a convincing victory. Not to say he is not an outstanding fighter, but from what I have seen in his chances against Abraham and Froch, he was beating those guys quite easily but I'm not sure if he understands what it takes in the ring to be a legend. Eventually he's going to have to put himself on the line and test himself.

  • Andre Dirrell would be out boxed.

Dawson is more of a natural at 175, he would be stronger and while he may at first have trouble with Dirrell's speed, he would adjust and knock out Dirrell in the late rounds.

that's a tough combat for me to call. Dawson is an exceptionally gifted fighter, he has super speed, protection, boxing potential, solid pop; common he's basically a incredibly experienced fighter. Hopkins on the different hand is a living legend. He constantly is conscious what to do, and he will constantly locate a thank you to win. he's cagey, cunning, and clever. i like what Dawson has mentioned ideal as much as this combat. he's spoke of ways he will throw a superb sort of punches, and have a look into to concentration on the 40 six 365 days old physique of Hopkins. undesirable Chad throws NASTY bodyshots while he fairly tries to. My situation with it fairly is that this. it fairly is basic to return up with an exceptionally solid gameplan and picture approximately what you pick to do, besides the fact that it fairly is an completely distinctive ingredient to head in and execute that gameplan with Hopkins on your face. What if Dawson's gameplan does not artwork? Hopkins will discern it out till now than later, he's probable the best fighter interior the sport in spite of each and every thing. Will Dawson have a plan B, or is he only going to stick to the gameplan, even although Hopkins is conscious what's coming? Dawson seems to lose concentration each and every from time to time, like he's in cruise mode. you may not pull that against B-Hop, as a results of fact he will make you pay badly for it. i don't think of Dawson is sweet adequate to throw a superb sort of punches and not lose concentration. i've got have been given Ex by way of determination in a aggressive and pretty close combat. Hopkins could have a superb sort of success by way of throwing a quickly/looping real hand, the two at the back of a jab or ideal with it. they are going to land relating to a similar quantity of punches, yet Hopkins pictures will do greater injury. Dawson gets his in, yet he would be too passive at cases. i think of B-Hop will win a unanimous determination (one hundred fifteen-113 3x) or a majority determination.

I pick Chad because he is bigger and stronger, and has more experience.

I think Andre Ward would have a better chance against Chad.
