How many Sunnis want to delete these verses from Holy Quran?
And Sulaiman was Dawud’s heir. He said: ‘O you people! We have been taught the speech of birds, and on us has been bestowed (a little) of all things: this is indeed Grace manifest (from Allah).’” (Quran, 27:16)
And surely I fear my cousins after me, and my wife is barren, therefore grant me from Thyself an heir, Who should inherit me and inherit from the children of Yaqoub, and make him, my Lord, one in whom Thou art well pleased. (Quran, 19:5-6)
The Sunnis have a difficult time dealing with these verses in the Quran, and deep down in their hearts they wish they could throw out these verses from the Quran because it so destroys their polemical stance against the Shia. In fact, some of the early classical Sunni scholars believed that verses were added in the Quran by the Imam Ali(AS) and Bibi Fatima(AS) (i.e. Tahreef, or tampering of the Quran). Of course, the modern day Sunnis have publically denied that they believe in Tahreef so they are forced to accept these verses as sound. They (the modern day Sunni propagandists) have thus come up with some feeble responses to prove infallibility of Abu bakr

How strange it is how the people(Umar) who say the Quran is enough for them can't even use it to back up the arguments.
@Rosey- Did you know that Al-Kafi has 18000 traditions? Did you know that out of 18000 only 5,800 are to be considered as Sahih (Authentic)? Unfortunately, those who fights the shias are quoting hadiths the one shias reject them.

I find it ridiculous that you even mention that a verse can be deleted from the Quran. The Quran was created by Allah, for the people, and we cannot touch it. I'm surprised you don't know that.
And really, like any Muslim should know, The Quran is the only sacred text that has not been tampered with, since the text was passed on by the sa7aba and it remained intact.
Besides, if you wanna know my opinion about it, I think the Shia Sunni feud is ridiculous, because we are Muslims nonetheless.

Then you also read this' [9:88] As for the messenger and those who believed with him, they eagerly strive with their money and their lives. These have deserved all the good things; they are the winners. 9:89] GOD has prepared for them gardens with flowing streams, wherein they abide forever. This is the greatest triumph that verse you placed refereed to the groups of Arabs who did not folllow Phrophet Mohamed(swa) during that time and did not accept Islam. But it does say the the believers 9:99] Other Arabs do believe in GOD and the Last Day, and consider their spending to be a means towards GOD, and a means of supporting the messenger. Indeed, it will bring them nearer; GOD will admit them into His mercy. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful. [9:100] As for the early vanguards who immigrated (Muhajerin), and the supporters who gave them refuge (Ansar) and those who followed them in righteousness, GOD is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. He has prepared for them gardens with flowing streams, wherein they abide forever. This is the greatest triumph

Prophets AS do not leave property as inheritance. Their inheritance is their message. All Prophets AS before Prophet Mohammad SAW asked Allah to grant them heirs so their message should not be stopped.
Prophet SAW is LAST and FINAL messenger of Allah that is why he did not ask to give him any heir.
His heirs are SCHOLARS of Islam.
He SAW said,
All Prophets have inheritance. My inheritance is KNOWLEDGE.

My opinion? I put my trust in Allah. He is all-Encompassing and Knowing, and there is no way for me to refute that.
"... And Allah gives His sovereignty to whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing [in favor] and Knowing."
(Quran 2:247)
The first Caliph was Abu Bakr, don't you think it was Allah who gave him the position? Remember, He gives sovereignty to whom He wills.

Hey..Mr. Photoshop lion..
Why do you think we have any problem with these verses?
While Quran specifically teaches about inheritance of Prophets, why does not it mention names of Ali, Fatima, Hassan and Hussain...RA.........
Why should we defend something while there is no case at all?
These are you are facing problem with these verses..
