    Because illness has little to do with technology. As long as we have human contact, or even human interaction {touching doorknobs, phones, faucets in restrooms} we will continue to spread germs.

    Also, viruses and bacteria are exceptionally resilient creatures, and fight for their very survival quite diligently. Not to mention the gazillions of man-made carcinogens from our technology DESPITE our knowledge...

    its call fund raising, supporting more and more labs, what would the government- help then, if the sickness don't kill you the side affects from the meds will.

    Source(s): my source is the family Bible-mother passed away 50 years ago from cancer, same kind that is still killing thosands every year, sister- becauce of suger and was given way too much insulin, and went into a coma, never came out if it
