Yes, and I suggest to any woman who is in one to leave as soon as possible. If you are scared for your safety set up a order of protection and a police drive by of your house if your concerned. It will never get better I know a lot women believe it will and they can help whoever is doing it, you can't and you never will. The situation is the way it is. There are women shelters also for women who need to leave the situation and do not know what to do. If children are involved gain custody as soon as possible and you can place them on the order as well. If children are invovled that is a good reason to also leave as well. Removing yourself from the situation is the only solution.
