I remove raw tomatos too, and I am careful not to get any cheese or dairy products.

I order off the menu. I never think to make substitutions. If I do think I don't want a certain ingredient then I usually choose another item on the menu.

I order straight off the menu.....as is. The only variation I might make would be in a Chinese place I'd ask them to hold the green peppers. I do hate green peppers. In most American restaurants I just order within the parameters of what they offer.
Yes, I've worked in restaurants before. Nobody likes a snooty and particular turd who thinks he always needs something special.

Most of the time I order whats on the menu. Except for onions and like you tomatoes. (Tomato seeds ruin a perfectly good sandwich)

I make up my own menu items because I am just that cool. I walk into a Italian restaurant, order Chinese, and they bring it out. The only other entity capable of such a feat is Chuck Norris.

The only things I ever remove are onions, raw peppers (don't mind cooked ones), and mustard.
