Submarine Called Up When President Orders?
I have heard something about when something happens with the presidency a submarine is called up from the depths of he ocean and that signify's comething can someone give me more info on this?

Let me try this one. The Commander of NATO forces can send out a message using VLF, which causes all FBM 'boomers' to rise up to shallow water so they can recieve new orders. Those new orders could be re-targeting [re-selecting which targets each of their warheads is assigned], or changes in patrol operational areas.
Fast Attacks do not usually hang out at deep levels hiding, and they do not usually carry the equipment for staying deep and recieving VLF like that.
It is the boomers which focus on being hidden deep, and therefore which would need to be called up to shallow depths from time to time.

ok short answer, if needed, a sub can be called up however the exact details of this can not be discussed as you do not have a proper clearance nor the need to know.
