How exactly do you define....?

'butch'. I mean I'm not too sure about the strict definition, i get that 'fems' they're the ones that wear make up dress up and generally act like women. but people call me butch, ok I don't wear make-up and I don't do my hair ( I just wear it in a long plait because i have really long hair) but people still say I'm butch. I guess it's because I do look kinda masculine but I'm confused then, is butch just not wearing make up? I always imagined it to be more like the ones that have reeally short hair and dress kinda masculine ( I don't dress that feminine just more casual) and actually look like they're trying to be men and want to be men if you get me?

I'm mean i never try to act like a man or anything. What do you think/ How do you define butch? and what would you say i sound like?

I say you dont have to categorize yourself at all. I hate all the categorization in the gay world, just be you and happy. Having said that, you dont sound that butchy, more sporty.

It is very often how others define you. It is said they cue you up within the 1st 2 seconds, not much time is it, but often how it works. In those 1st few seconds, do they see a feminine woman, makeup, dress, jewelry, heels, etc, or do they see patterns that fit into their limited prejudicial image of male, butch behaviour. It only takes one tiny image for them to fit you into a category, even if everything else does not fit that image. People tend to look for faults, sad to say.
