If your video card has an HDMI port and your TV also has an HDMI port, yes all you need is an HDMI cable to connect the two. The TV just becomes a big monitor for your computer.

Depends on what inputs your tv has and what outputs your pc has.
If you have a hd tv and a pc with an hdmi out on gfx card, then yep, an hdmi cable will be all you need.
If they don't though you may need a different type of cable. Most graphics cards will have one or more dvi or vga connection's, so don't threat if theres no hdmi out as these will likely be all you need.
If the tv has a vga input, then a vga cable is probably all you need, if not though you'll likely want to look in to getting a dvi to hdmi adapter, which will allow you to run the dvi in the the hdmi port (Dvi and hdmi work in a pretty similar way, only downside of dvi is it won't include sound, so you'd have to hook some speakers up to your pc for that)
Anyways, hope that helps

There's a couple of different options. I know for a fact there are VGA -> S-Video adapters/cables available, and I would imagine there's probably one for Component Video as well. If you have an HDMI slot on your TV, VGA->HDMI is what I use. It requires one simple cable (although it is a little more expensive, but still affordable) and can be setup and taken down in seconds. If you have a RadioShack nearby, go visit them. They usually have some affordable ways to convert things and can instruct you how to do it if it's complicated (which it shouldnt be). Hope this helps.

Depend son what your tv is.
if your PC and TV both has HDMI cable then yes, connect them, no need to restart, and select HDMI (1) (2) (3) on your tv to veiw that input.
If its an old fashion TV, I urge you to buy a USB to AVI connectors and connect that form COmputer USB to AV2 or use USB to Scart convertor.
HDMI is obivously better, clearly and HD!
Or on some TV's (Mine has) you can see a 7-pinned VGA utput, disconnect your tower desktop, and use the BLUE wire VGA, 7 - pinned to connect to your tv that way, most new TV's have that option adn slect COMPUTER on your TV, that way theres no need to buy a HDMI wire

usually you just get the HDMI cord and plug it in to both the tv and computer and your screen should pop up on the tv. Make sure you have the setting on the tv set to the HDMI setting so the pc screen shows up when you plug it in.
On my tv you have to press the source button and a list with the titles AV1 and such pop up and i have to select HDMI. It may be the case for your tv as well

If you TV can take HDMI and your computer has a HDMI port then sure. Make sure you have your tv set to Video 1 or 2. Just restart the computer and it will appear on your TV. you have to configure you projector settings on your computer though.
