Does anyone know if Gardner Team rent assistance group is a scam?
My mom found a website for the Gardner Team which will rent to you regardless of your credit history. You have to join their group for a one time fee of $199, they'll approve you, and then you are able to go and visit any of their properties, then submit your papers if you want to rent that property. Their site says that all the prices include utilities and the prices seem too good to be true. I am actually going to check with the Better Business Bureau and see if I can find anything out, but I want to see if anyone on here has used them and if they're legit.

Anything "to good to be true" is. It does not make sense to offer something like this to people unlikely to pay for it, it does not make any sense from a business point of view. They would be bankrupt. It sounds like a total scam.

Regardless of credit history?
"Their" properties?
My guess is, that they put you into properties that are shacks or in less than stellar neighborhoods and keep your $199 when you complain that you don't want to live in those areas/houses/apts because, technically, they DID find you a place..it just wasn't a place you would WANT to live in! LOL
Hope your mom has no problem losing $199.
