Will West Ham no longer face relegation now that Avram Grant is their manager?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/w...
"West Ham have appointed Avram Grant as the club's new manager on a four-year contract, subject to a work permit. Grant, 55, succeeds Gianfranco Zola who was sacked after the Hammers finished 17th in last season's Premier League."

grant is just a yes man installed by sullivan and gold who have their own plans. the 100 mill of debt will eventually take its toll, i cant see anything for the hammers except relegation battles.

They should of prepared for relegation weeks ago, even just as a precaution, West Ham are now going into the Championship next year with a new manager, a new team (most of the current team will have to be sold) and will likely have financial problems. Not looking good for them.

I don't think they will be fighting relegation and I really do hope they do well, Avram Grant is a quality manger who brings out the best in his players, just look what he did with Portsmouth

If the very dubious owners let him get on and manage the club then Avram will achieve cult status in England.
Gold and Sullivan made their fortune out of the porn industry (mostly selling very near the knuckle top shelf magazines) personally I cant stand either of them.

with avram grant and a little money west ham could be on the rise to becoming a good team.

grant is a good manager and i see that happening... the club will most probably rise up slowly but surely... but i still think they will finish in the bottom half of the table next season...

No they still have a poor team so unless they sign some better players they will still be scrapping near the bottom

They will rise surely.. Mr.Grant did a good job with Pompey last year.. Hopefully if he does the same with WHU, they may end up in the mid-table..
