How do I charge for web and print design projects?

I might have a new client who will want me to do print and web work. In addition, they will want me to do new letters as well as target their client.

How do I know what to charge them if this goes through? Do I charge by the hour or by the project? And if I design by the project how do I know what to charge?

    If pages are less

    charge by hour ,plus the work eg animation,graphics charge separately etc.If pages are more charge by project.Compare which can earn you more and still benifits the clients.Please check around your competitive market.

    Check into the local competitions charge for product in a similar category . Most charge by the hour (a lot by the hour).

    I'd charge by the design and how long it takes, but it also depends on how good your work is
