I'm trying to convert my 250GB ExHDD from NTFS to FAT32 on Windows 7?
I'm trying to use my external HDD on my PS3, but it won't read anything aside from FAT32. I went through the steps to try and format it through command prompt and it said something about the size being to large. Is there another way to do this or is there a problem that would allow me to convert my NTFS external hdd to FAT32?

The max file size in a fat32 partition is 4gb anything over that and the file cannot be converted. That is why you are having a problem remove any files over 4GB and try again.

I have used DOS command "convert" from the run box, I have also done it in windows 7, by r/click on drive, select format>select NTFS> and uncheck quick format, give it a volume name (usually the name of the Drive) ie "passport". "store n go", whatever?
From c: prompt in run box: convert: (drive) /fs /ntfs
