Do you ever wish you could change what you named your children?

like, if it came too popular or something. I know someone who heard the name Lindsey on TV show and thought it was very uncommon, but it turned out everyone had the same idea! lol.

I never have wanted to change any of my three children's names. All have at least one part (first or middle) of a relative's name, so that makes them special. I have really never even considered it.

    No, I don't.

There is a big part of me that feels like all of my daughter's names are fate. For not one of them did I find their names in a baby name book, I found them in my heart[=

My oldest daughter Siobhan Rebecca is named after my sister-in-law who passed away in the second trimester of my pregnancy. I absolutely love her name, because of the meaning behind it. My sister-in-law's name was Rebekah Denise Siobhan, and everyone in her immediate family called her Siobhan (others called her Becca). So my husband and I debated between the names 'Rebekah' and 'Siobhan' for our daughter only once. Ultimately, it was my husband's decision, and he decided on the name Siobhan. We chose Rebecca as the middle name because it was an alternate spelling of Rebekah, and it was also biblical(=

We choose Lorelei Evangeline because we both loved it. I found it, out of fate, by just flipping through channels[=

Eden Melody is perfect because it was inspired by Siobhan, and it was biblical, and beautiful. Of course, the Eden is getting more and more popular, but it still isn't 'too' popular. If it doesn't get any more popular, it will just great. Even if it does gradually make its way into the top spots, I will never regret that name. When she was born, where I live, Eden was generally unheard of. I don't think that it could ever get THAT popular THAT fast.

Rosa Chanel is a name our older daughters helped pick, and is one I have always loved<3

I think if you think a name through enough, you will love it forever...

No i don't, i love what i named my boy's and i wouldn't change it for anything, no matter how popular they get.

My son's names are Maddox Michael, Colton Thomas and Liam Joseph.

I have noticed alot of people using Colton lately or liking it at least, and i've seen Liam alot lately too, but Lima is the most popular of the 3 name i chose anyways, but i think it's getting even more popular. I see Maddox sometimes but not too often, so it's still pretty uncommon.

    Hope this helps, :D

My name ends in an "i," which I found embarrassing in my 30s, when I wanted to be taken seriously. I gave my daughter a more grown-up name that I thought she could be happy with all her life. She doesn't like it--too old-fashioned. You can't win! So...don't try to second-guess yourself. Love the person and forget about the name.

  • Nope.

I've thought of names that I like that would have been nice for her, but I don't think I will ever regret the name I actually did choose for her.

Nawwww, too much history in making the choice. If you loved it then and chose it, its all for keeps. We put a lot of thought and consideration into our daughter's name and I couldn't picture her with any other name. :))

Not at all. People assume that I named my daughter (Rosalie) after Twilight. When in reality, my grandmothers name was Rosalyn and she raised me up until her death. Camille is also my middle name, along with my mothers and her mothers. Rosalie Camille.

My Landlady named her son Burton, and then realized (now that he's 4 weeks old) that people might want to call him Burt, and she hates that. She is trying to decided if she is going to change his name. I guess it happends!
