Has anyone ever used eggshell footing for their arenas?
What are the pros and the cons?

I have never heard about using eggshells as footing for anything, let alone horses! But I did a bit of research and this is what I've got out of it:
It is low dust (6 months before watering is required!)
Non-slip surface
Non-compacted
Illuminating benefit (indoor arenas) because of the light colors
Its supposed to be cheap- I've found it's around $2 a ton.
However:
It should be tested for salmonella (and others!)
I have no idea where you would find a dealer for it unless you have an egg-breaking plant near you!
