Question About iPhone?
I'm thinking about getting an iphone, but there is one thing I'm wondering (girls can help me more then the guys) I've got fairly long nails, when I type will it registar if I use my nails, or does it prefer proper finger contact? If not, is there a phone that I can get where you can use a stylus (little pen thing) because my sister has a phone that does and I can use my nails to type messages on that quiet easily.

No. The iPhone has a capacitive multi-touch screen which requires electric conduction with your bare hands to interact. These are one of the reasons the iPhone has revolutionized the touchscreen market...
You can still get the iPhone and get the electric-conductive thermal stylus's designed for the iPhone but I recommend just using your bare hands.... phones that use styluses (which usually use resistive touchscreen technology) don't have multi-touch, can be buggy, and sometimes it's just a pain in the a*s to use (Only exception is the HTC Touch Pro2.... otherwise every other phone that uses styluses in my opinion sucks)....
I recommend getting the myTouch 3G Slide since it has a hardware sliding keyboard, uses Android OS and enhanced with HTC Espresso (which also has Genius where you can just use your voice and tell your phone to call or text someone.... it's extremely accurate you don't have to talk straight with it.... check out some reviews on it and try it out), and has a capacitive touchscreen.
Otherwise get the iPhone. Wait for the new iPhone to come out.... it has a front-facing camera for video calls, a faster processor, a better screen, a metallic exterior casing, a new design, and a better camera with flash.
It's going to be unveiled on the June 7 Apple WWDC event and Apple said that it will go on sale in June too.... not long after it is unveiled (probably will go on sale a few days after that)....

The iPhone has a CAPACITIVE screen. Capacitive screens respond to finger contact.
If you want to use a stylus/nail, you need a RESISTIVE screen. Do some research or ask your local electronics guy for a touch phone with a resistive screen.
All the best!

The answer is no. The largely bad thing about the iPhone is that the screen doesn't support stylus and sadly it doesn't even work with fingernails so my advice is to cut your nails or find another phone that supports stylus
