What Do You Think Of My Suggestions On The YA Suggestion Board? ^_^.?
Also give any more suggestions if you can think of any or feel free to post your own on the suggestion board ^_^.

I have a few suggestions for this -
1) I think it would be much better if YA was to give the option of Accepting/Declining contacts, as there are 'Troll Clans' who will report questions. I have had many questions removed falsely due to these trolls, which I have them appealed against and won. But it is still a hassle to go through.
2) Loosen up the rules such as 'chat', Yahoo Answers makes it's money through advertising, money the user provides by clicking advertisements. You should be thanking us, not punishing us. Many use YA for it's social side as well, and it is a bit over the top to punish users for friendly chatter when their is much worse being posted on YA.
3) IP ban for repeat offenders. There are trolls who have posted offensive comments for years on YA now, using multiple accounts, if not hundreds of accounts. I'm not saying IP ban those genuine users who may have been suspended multiple times, but for those trolls who continuously post, maybe their should be a 'three strike' rule, three accounts banned then IP ban?
These are just a few idea's.
Thank you!

Yes i would agree with all you have said..I would also like the Identity of the trolls who have abused this site and the members for years to be revealed. And when someone reports someone for it to be looked at individually and for it to be investigated as to if this person had previously reported the member in question on numerous occasions. Is it a grudge they have against them or is it genuine instead of just sending out routine violation notices. The trolls should be asked why they have reported the member in question and for them to have a valid genuine reason. If it becomes obvious this is someone holding a grudge the troll should be removed after a period of time. And as you say ban from using multiple accounts.I would agree with the chat i think that would be beneficial for genuine members.I have answered numerous questions to be informed they had been deleted and it has been obvious that they had not violated any rules .I take great acception to genuine members being abused in this way .It is obvious that trolls have abused people for many years and it needs to be treat with seriousness is deserves. I have informed Yahoo Answers of how i feel.
......! LETS HOPE IT DOES NOT FALL ON DEAF EARS !

I think this is a great idea... You have nailed it on the money! Ive had so many questions removed b/c oftrolls for -- Misuse of the question and answer format, or Chatting which is super annoying and I do think certain people should have their IP address banned for sure... Thanks for doing this Liam! I should copy exactly what you wrote down and do the same and everyone else who agrees should as well if we ever want to get things turned around on this site we love so much!

Yes several times. I have never rated anything, but I have suggested several revisions to improve the site. Two of the revisions were accepted, but the changes were probably going to happen anyway. Nobody ever acknowledged my correspondence. Sometimes you do not get a response for appeals either.

First off,I think most trolls are YAHOO! That's right I believe most trolls originate from people who work there who see if we REALLY know the rules.2) Chat-If you loosen up any rules people always take advantage of them,always.3) I have no problem with that suggestion.

Sounds smarter than anything I could ever conjure.
I would definitely place it down, its really detailed and its sure as hell is true. Because to this day I don't understand why my account got suspended but the troll that caused mine to get suspended still lurks free, and I still don't understand why good people get so many violations and are reported while clones that have been around for ages, yes, racists ones, and drones like Clint C are never reported/suspended.
It also puzzles me how Yahoo can link your multiple accounts, to find evidence of cheating but can't find or link accounts together that would link people to being in specific troll groups or organizations.

Brilliant.

I couldn't agree more with you. I especially agree that Y/A should adopt the three strike rule which youtube.com currently uses.
