I am going to a dress up party, question about clothes.?

the theme is "beauty and the geek" and I'm not sure if I should dress in bright colours, yellow sweater vest, blue shirt, pink shorts, blue long socks, or in darker navey colours :) What do you think?

I ask this in this category as I'm part of it, and i appreciate your opinion on it moreso than others. :)
