What is the best college for...?
My sister is going to college soon. She doesn't know what college to apply for, but she is extremely talented in art, designing, music, and acting. (Basically all the expressive arts). Are there any VERY GOOD COLLEGES (like up with Harvard) that she can attend that focus on the expressive arts?

For the performing arts, Juilliard is the top school in the nation.
As for studio art, Yale University has one of the best art programs. The School of Art offers only graduate degrees, but undergraduates in Yale College can benefit from Yale's preeminence in this area. Yale also offers a great many opportunities for students interested in acting and dance, partly owing to the presence of the Yale School of Drama. There is an undergraduate drama program.
Both Juilliard and Yale are, of course, extremely selective. At Yale, a successful applicant would have to possess not only significant design and performing talent, but also high academic achievement, including impressive grades and test scores.
Other art schools to be considered include the Rhode Island School of Design and several institutions in New York City, such as Parsons. The Tisch School of the Arts at New York University is another possibility, as is Bennington College, which is very welcoming to students with an interest in both the design and performing arts.

There are plenty of careers and plenty of good schools. For example, if she likes music and design, she can pursue a degree in Music Engineering from the University of Miami http://mue.music.miami.edu/ . She would end up designing electronics for music processing or editing music. If she likes being creative and design, perhaps a degree in industrial design or interior design would be perfect. The University of Cincinnati DAAP college has great programs in both http://www.daap.uc.edu/ . I would recommend graphic design but I found that field rather boring and square, though, there are great job opportunities. The acting part is an asset because people that are good at acting are often good public speakers, and very people oriented, so that's a plus. Do your research, because usually people that love arts get frustrated as it seems there is nothing out there for them in regards to careers, but there is plenty!

"art, designing, music, and acting"
Well, OK. Perhaps she doesn't need a job when she graduates...
