What can "Think outside the box" mean?
My ex husband (we´re on friendly terms) emailed me about a fishing trip he made and then he added "Think outside the box" like that, out of the blue. When I asked him what this meant he told me it was a riddle for me to solve. Any idea what he could have meant?

In those terms, it seems like he may be trying to get back with you. Thinking outside the box means thinking outside the obvious.

Hi, it's not a riddle. It just means that you should think differently to the way you always/usually think. Not to think in a one track way but explore different options. Hope it helps.
