I'm planning a fashion and talent show..Need help??!!?

First of pick a theme. If you just try to go with a set of random props to fill space it will just look cluttered.

So for instance, if you chose a checkers theme, you would have red and black lighting. Possibly a red carpet style runway. And other things to compliment each other. Honestly you don't need much props at all.

Also lighting for a fashion show is very important. You want not too much blind the viewers, or the models themselves, but you want enough to give it whatever feel you're looking for. Lighting does make a big difference for appearance. Typically you'll want the stage to be mainly lit, and the surrounding areas dim.

My biggest suggestion I can give you is to go on youtube and search fashion shows, big and small.. Look at bad ones and see what they did wrong. I posted a link of a video I put together on the most recent event that I through, it's not a fashion show, but you can see some of what I did to transform a small college open activities area into a concert. If i presumed that they have got been gifted adequate to prevail on their very own, i'd attempt to inspire them to no longer struggle via with. I merely don't have self assurance that those exhibits are able to producing anybody of musical and imaginitive value. on the different hand, if the guy in question did no longer stand of project, had no musical skills, and easily stood to be humiliated, then specific, i'd tell them to choose for it. i like a competent laugh :) Edit: tell me bout it!!
