MacBook Pro and Air Question?
Next month I am getting a new computer for my birthday and I don't know if I should get the MacBook Pro or Air. It seems like everyone at my school seems to get the Pro, but it seems like the Air would be a better choice since its newer and I want to be different. I hate being the same as everyone else! Which one would you recommend is better. I have tried doing research for both of them but I am really not a computer person, so I don't really know much about computers,

The MB Air is slim and nice looking, but your money will go A LOT further with a MB Pro. I own both, and the Air works great for simple tasks like documents, music, and email, but it often overheats when trying to do heavy processing for video editing, file transferring, and even just streaming movies online. If it's your only computer, I would go with the Pro hands down.
