Are the horse and carriage rides that stay in front of the Cathedral available on Thursdays ?

I know they are there every weekend.. just dont know about Thursdays

    Usually, yes but this week the mules are resting in a nice cool barn. It is too hot, even for them to be out. So, you can try it on the weekend. I heard the mules will be kept inside for a few days. Hopefully by the weekend the weather will break.

    They are used because they can handle the heat, but cannot handle temperatures above about 95 degrees and pull the carriages.

    Source(s): Live here in the Quarter and haven't seen the mules out this week and asked 'why no mules'. This was the answer given.

    You can find their carriages daily, 8:30 am till Midnight,

    at the 700 Block of Decatur Street at Jackson Square
