Why would Bryce Harper choose to go the worst team in baseball?
He went to the NATIONALS! With all the hype over him during the past few years, why would he go to the Nationals and not a good team?

The Nationals are not the worst team in baseball or even close to it. They are an improving club that is currently 27-31 on the year and will only get better with the development of several of their young players including Strasburg. For reference purposes the worst team in baseball is the Orioles at 16-41.
Also its the draft the best player goes to the team that did the worst the year before that is how it works.

FYI the nats r no longer the worst team. The Orioles r the worst and Bryce Harper sounds like a guy who likes to help improve teams

Its not really his choice. The nationals had the #1 pick so they drafted him. The bad teams get the best picks so they can give them a chance to get better. So by drafting the best players, they are hoping it will make their team better.

If he chose to go to the worst team in baseball he would be with the Astros

Because the Nationals drafted him and are going to pay him an enormous sum of money to play baseball for them. (And if he were to go to college there's no guarantee of him being drafted so high again.)

Because in 10 years, the Nationals will be the best team in baseball thanks to him.

Are you new to baseball?
He doesn't get to decide what team he goes to, dufus.
