Are you being forced to use their particular agency? if so, then find another agency. A legitimate agency should have a list of at least 5 recommended photographers for you to contact on your own, arrange a shoot, and pay the photographer directly.

While some agencies might have a deal with certain photographers because they bring them a lot of business, you should never be forced to use that photographer, and never pay the agency for the pictures. Make sure you are paying the photographer directly. And if it's an in-house photographer, I wouldn't bother - I don't know a single legitimate agency that has an in-house photographer for comp cards

Make sure you are able to use the photographer of your choice, then call around to compare prices. Maybe $269 is the best deal you can get but it's worth calling around just to make sure

NEVER pay for photos by an agency. Ever.

This is the first and biggest sign of a scam agency.

You and your daughter should be getting the moula for her modelling talents. There's absolutely no point in paying in this instance unless you just want some profressional pictures of her to keep for memories sakes. In that case, you go to a reputable photographer.

No one should have to PAY to work as a model. You earn money FROM modelling.

I never heard of it,and I'm in the modeling industry...

    I wouldn't trust it -___-

Try letting her go on other auditions that are more notorious.
