what is a BD drive ? came up on my computer?

A BD drive is a Blue-ray disk drive. Your computer may or may not have one.

You can check by doing the following:

Windows XP:

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance, and then click System.

2. On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager, Click Disk Drives.

Windows Vista & 7:

1. Click Start, and type in Device Manager.

2. Click Disk Drives

Mac:

1. Choose Apple menu > About This Mac.

2. Click More Info to open System Profiler. (Or open the Apple System Profiler application located in /Applications/Utilities.)

3. Click the topics on the left to see the information you're looking for. To see more detail, click the triangle next to an item.
