Will AT&T wave my cancelation fee?
I have had AT&T for 3 years now, and I recently took my free upgrade ( 2 weeks ago) which started me on another 2 year contract.
My mother signed herself and I up for a family plan together, unbeknown to me.
If I go to AT&T and cancel my individual plan, do you think they'll wave the $175 fee seeing as I am technically still with them?
The family plan she signed us up for is with AT&T.

All you can do is try, sometimes they can be flexible.
If you have an office close by a face to face is a good way to sort this kind of thing out.

i think the new cancelation fee with att is $350 since you got a contract 2 weeks ago you have to pay that now which sucks. i tried that once and they told me i'd need to pay the cancelation fee no matter what! good luck tho. call them and ask them to see what they say.
