Republicans would be likely to exterminate the Democrats, I would think...first by eliminating the filibuster.

We have a one party system. Demos and Repubs are the same and the result of that is our country in its final years.

I suspect any perspective on this issue is colored by your beliefs regardless of which side you are on.
From my perspective, the way the Republicans demonize the Democrats as Communists seems the perfect way to ban them.

Lets See
Big government party or the small government party.
Party that wants to ban or limit guns for citizens or the party who doesnt
Party that has a history of violence or the party that doesnt
Should be obvious.

Fortunately Republicans do not believe in that which is a good thing because the Military hates Democrats.
Democrats have been known to make that attempt through other means but Americans always catch on.
