What does "eco del mathia" mean? (I don't know the language)?

I assume it is spelled this way--in any case it SOUNDS like "eco del mathia." It may even be a single word, two words, or even four or five words, I suppose. Just looking for help. Thanks.

    It sounds Italian too

    Eco del mattino

    Echo of the morning

It would be most helpful if you could provide the context (song, play, church, opera, a restaurant, etc. etc.) in which you have heard this phrase. Without the spelling nor the language, it is bit of a shot in the dark. Any additional information that would shed light on the subject would be appreciated.

It would help to know the context of the phrase-- where did you see it? It could be misspelled Latin, or a Mediterranean language such as Italian or Spanish.

A guess-could it be "eco de las montanas"? Means "Voice of the mountains," in Spanish.
