WHow can u manage your dislike for a close co worker?

If u have 2 work close as partners, how to be polite and kind without getting overacted

Update:

The point is that he is a good person, and does nothing 2 bother me, its me, I don't like him (I find very unprofessional not managing this situation correctly to do my work...) I dunno why, but... I dislike him.

Continue to be professional with him - remember - you are paid to do a job not be best friends so you are on the right track - focus only on the task at hand.

Just keep your mind on the work, stay professional and don't socialize with them when it comes to non work realted things. Things move pretty fast in the workworld. Next month you or they could be working in another department or even at another company. You are never going to like all of your coworkers so maybe you should try focusing on what these coworkers have to offer from a professsional point of view even though you don't like them.

It can be difficult especially when the person is bascially nice, but somethng about the person aggravates you tremendously. Your best bet may be to find something, however small, that in your mind you can give him small credit for, and remind yourself of that when you feel like biting his head off. Sort of like creating a positive mind set to offset the frustration.

Just keep it serious like they're a stranger. I hated a co-worker of mine but she just never knew it, she always told everyone how seriously I took our work and how task oriented I was. HEHE!! I'd just be polite like I would towards a distant aunt or uncle that I'm suppose to like (remember that feeling?) not like my grandma and just bury myself in the work just to get it over w/ ASAP. I'd say "Hi How are you?" not really listen to the answer then get to work. You don't need to be kind just don't be rude, just-be-polite. BeinOnly be kind enough to give a good answer if they ask you something. Maybe wait until they're kind to you to be kind back but its not necessary. Be kind to ppl you like.

Simply do your job to the best of your ability with as little contact or conversation as possible. If the problem persist ask management for transfer to another position.
