I think you were looking for the actual salsa recipe and not how to make the burgers... so here you go!

    Ingredients:

1 Serrano chile (or Jalapeno), seeds removed, chopped fine (wear gloves)

6 medium fresh tomatoes chopped into 1/4-inch chunks

1 medium red onion or sweet onion, chopped

3 green onions sliced thin with green tops included

1/8 cup loosely-packed fresh cilantro, finely chopped

    1/4 teaspoon cumin powder

    1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon oregano, crushed between your palms

    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

    1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce

1 (4-ounce) can chopped mild green chiles

    2 Tablespoons red wine vinegar

    Salt and pepper to taste

    Preparation:

Combine Serrano chile, tomatoes, red or sweet onions, green onions, cilantro, cumin, chili powder, oregano, garlic powder, tomato sauce, green chiles, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper. Let sit overnight to let flavors blend.

This one is also a good one, since the CiP one is more of a chunky fresh garden salsa... or you can leave the canned sauce out of the first one.

    1 heirloom tomato; perferably yellow

    4 roma tomatoes

    1/2 sweet onion

1 roasted red pepper from a jar

1 jalapeno pepper, stemmed, seeded and chopped fine

    Zest of 1 lime

    juice of 1 lime

3 cloves of garlic puree using a garlic press

    1 t. cumin

    1/2 t. cayenne pepper

    salt to taste

    1/3 c. fresh cilantro, chopped

    James,

I love cheesebuger in paradise. I use this receipe

8 ounces fresh USDA choice ground beef chuck, 2 tablespoons kosher salt,1 tablespoon ground black pepper, 1/2 tablespoon garlic salt, 1/2 tablespoon onion salt, 1 teaspoon celery salt, 8 slices American cheese - 1 slice, 4 sesame hamburger buns, toasted, 8 leaves iceberg lettuce, 4 slices tomato, 1/4-inch thick, 4 slices red onion, 1/4-inch thick,4 toothpicks,4 pickle spears .

Shape the ground meat into 4 (7-ounce) patties. In a mixing bowl, combine the kosher salt, pepper, garlic salt, onion salt and celery salt. Mix well. Place burger on a hot grill and season with the seasoning salt. Cook the burgers halfway to desired temperature and flip over and finish cooking.

    Bon appetit

That's so funny. I was just listening to Paradise by the Dashboard Light as I drove home! But I'll still have to go with Cheeseburger in Paradise, because even though I love the other two songs, they get old fast. Whereas Cheeseburger...mmmmmm, cheeseburger.
