Call of Duty Modern Warfare Wii/Reflex?

you can play it alone or u can do co-op option but the other person will only have a cross hair (sucks really) but there is an online option that he will really like i play it all the time and i play it with my friends

I have CoD Reflex and for the campaign, you play on your own but there are squad members (computer players though) who help you throughout the game. There is almost a co-op mode, although I haven't played it much. You squad members can die, but it doesn't affect you in missions.

There is a online option to, I'm sure your son-in-law would love it. You rank up to level 60 I think, and as you go on you acquire new weapons and perks. There are different modes online, and you really are teamed up with real players who are also online.

ALRIGHT! You have 3 modes: Campaign, Arcade, and Online Multiplayer

In campaign mode, you play alone throughout the story of Modern Warfare and play through the missions, shooting bad guys, blowing up stuff, the usual first person shooter stuff.

In arcade mode, you play through a mission from the campaign or the entire campaign. You get points if you kill enemies and you also have lives instead of infinite continues.

In ONLINE MULTIPLAYER you participate in game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Free-for-All, Sabatoge, etc. in various maps, or levels. Some game modes are cooperative, and some are focusing on yourself. Here are a few examples of game modes:

TEAM DEATHMATCH: There are two teams of players. The two teams try to kill each other to score points and if they get the most, the team wins.

FREE-FOR-ALL: Everyone kills each other and tries to get the most to win the game. This is NOT co-op.

DOMINATION: Two teams try to take control of 3 flags in the map. The two teams may kill each other to gain control of a flag.
