Why does a question about deleted questions get deleted?

Is there a quota to make on deleted questions this weekend? If so... who is filling their quotas?

I suppose that it is a fault of the system, one which yahoo do not think is worth the bother of fixing since it has been like it for as long as I can remember. It works to the advantage of spammers like the one constantly advertising call girls as even when supposedly deleted their numbers are there for all to see. "Good luck with that. I have had 4 occasions since the weekend when I have tried to edit my own answer and been taken to another user's answer instead. I can't even get them to answer me about a serious security issue such as that. I mean can you imagine the advantages an unprincipled person could take of THAT glitsch?" I had the same thing happen, there are some serious security problems with yahoo.

A question about "deleted questions get deleted" could still be in violation of the Yahoo! Terms of Service (ToS agreement) and/or the Yahoo! Answers Community Guidelines. For instance, venting or ranting, flame-baiting, openly calling a member by name -- and insulting other members; inappropriate/obscene/content, chat or rant violations, illegal content; misuse of the Q&A format, are some of MANY violations that COULD occur withing the context of an [otherwise potentially legitimate question of this nature]. Additionally, the Y!A author/member could be in violation for being underage 13, hate speech; links to pornographic content.

Maybe the Yahoo Gestapo really does have a quota to make. But there are a lot of morons and trolls in Yahoo Answers that get a sick thrill out of reporting as many people as they can.

I'm not sure, but I wonder, would a question about deleted questions about deleted questions get deleted? I think that remains to be seen!

Yes it is also happening right bow. Every question I click on says its been deleted for violating the community guidelines

I think it's keywording myself. As in, the troll who reported the original question will likely have their panties in a bunch over *Anything* that mentions keywords associated with the original, violated question. I've had more than a few question like that violated myself, after getting some fundie in R&S irritated with me (more so than usual). Blocking doesn't help with those because they're using the Search function to Reporter Troll anything with related *words*.

Really, there are some reasons why I use the phrase "Gentle Asker" instead of "you" or addressing the Asker by apparent name. o_o It seems like overly fussy etiquette, but in truth the Reporting system does *not* generally have its usual kittens over that phrase. Just as one example of *Many*.

    I hope this helps.

Source(s): Let's just put it this way--you cannot ever talk about parthogenesis in reptiles, even casually for giggles, in R&S. The fundies will go postal. As usual, the bastards go postal on anything that smells like science or reason, you know?

Sounds like the cops in my area. They have a certain quota they have fulfill, so they pull people over for the stupidest stuff. For example, a friend gets pulled over for a seat belt while tons of cars speed past... Idk, that's just me.

Are we all just that bored to delete such questions? Come on people, let's play nice.

I don't know... either the evil masterminds behind yahoo answers don't want their site to be questioned... or some idiot is reporting you. That question doesn't sound against the "rules".
