how do i stop yoyo dieting?

I keep trying to lose weight for dance, i am 140 and 5'6''. i know some of it is mucslce but a couple months ago my teacher recomended that i loose weight, i want to get down to 120 or 115, i dont really se my self as fat but i have a buble belly that i cant seem to loose, I seem to always loose 10 pounds and then gain it back

i need a way to stay on track and eat healty, i have sweat tooth but i love salad i need some ideas of healthy filling foods.

    You sound very much like you are suffering from the "Great American Diet Disease" that says eat low fat, lots of meals per day, reduce the caloric intake and then suffer with the "will power" dilemma.

    The sweat tooth is a result of eating too many carbs and not enough good fats. The fat tissue in your body makes the Leptin Hormone that tells your body how to utilize insulin and glucagon. Your tongue even has Leptin receptors on it and that is what causes the sweet tooth. Eating low fat makes your body believe it is starving and the Leptin hormone is involved in slowing down your thyroid function to preserve fat and this causes the plateauing.

    We humans are designed very specifically to eat lots of fat to give us sustained energy in times of Famine or periods of not being able to get food. Our bodies are carefully designed to process carbohydrates as quick, fleeting energy and FATS as long sustained energy. To counter the natural bodily process, you are told to eat 6 meals per day, etc. This is a futile attempt at keeping your blood sugar levels up so you won't get hungry from burning those carbs quickly. The problem is that the body believes you are starving. That's where the will power comes in, but is that anyway to live? NOT.

    You need to do two very important things here. The first thing is to make sure you are digesting well and getting good hydrochloric acid production and then eat more good fats, less carbs, and complete proteins. A very simple thing for you to do is go to the health store and purchase a lot of "Trail Mix" and also some coconut flakes (lots of them) and a coconut oil (extra virgin, organic and cold processed). Eat at least 2 Tablespoons of the coconut oil per day and then snack on the Trail Mix and coconut flakes between meals and also drink lots and lots of water. Many times the hunger feeling is dehydration, not hunger.

    ELIMINATE ALL vegetable oils like: soybean, canola, cottonseed, and corn oils. Eliminate all trans fats, fried foods, hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils, and ALL margarines.

    Eat lots of Olive oil, real butter made from RAW CREAM, coconut oil, avocado oil, walnut oil, flax seeds and flax oil, etc. Make your salad dressing from Olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

    Cutting white sugar and white flour out of your diet completely is a great diet to go on long term, it's actually something you can do forever without a yoyo effect. However, 140lbs at 5'6 is not unhealthy.
