    1. All people are lacking some knowledge, or not all people have all knowledge.

    2. John was a pilot, John was a passenger on an airplane, or it could also mean that John went to New York in a sudden hurry. Also New York is both a city and a state. Or yeah, the wing-sprouting thing! Or John could just BE a bird.

    1)Everyone doesn't know everything.

    This means everyone doesnt have knowledge in everything and also it means not everybody can know a specific task

    2)John flew to New York.

    This means john went to new york and john went to new york in a plane

    No.1 Could mean that there is no single person who knows everything or that the combined knowledge of everyone still does not add up to everything.

    No.2 To fly somewhere not only means to physically fly through the air but also to go somewhere in a rush

  • 1) Does it mean that somebody knows everything? Or that everybody knows some things?

    2) He could have taken a plane to New York, or he could have sprouted wings and literally flown himself like a bird.
