My Hair Metal band of the day (take 3)?

For a lot of people, hair metal seems to be synonymous with the L.A. and the Sunset Strip. Sure the scene there was very instrumental to the success of many bands from that era but only a small fraction of the hair metal bands actually came from that scene. Hair metal bands came from all across the globe which takes me to today's band.

Sweden is most known, in the hair metal world, for producing the band Europe but they definitely had more to offer. One of my favorites were the funk and metal infused Electric Boys. The Electric Boys never got the recognition in the U.S. that I feel they deserved. They only had one minor hit with All Hips N' Lips and that is all they people really seem to know they from but they had much more to offer. Unfortunately, we only got three albums from them before they disbanded.

MQ: Thoughts on the band/songs?

MQ2: What country do you feel produces the best bands?

BQ: Favorite type of BBQ? Memphis, Kansas City, Carolina, Texas, Asian....etc?

Since I am a restaurantaur the BQs will be food related from now on.

Update:

@KP The other question is still open. I have a busy life and am usually answering questions later myself.

Update 2:

@KP I serve a Kansas City style BBQ in my steakhouse (I will put my sauce against anyones) but have been thinking of expanding the BBQ options.

I remember All Hips N' Lips quite well and I loved it. Enjoyed listening to the other songs as well. Liked Psychedelic Eyes and My Knuckles Your Face best I think. I think what happened with the band was timing, sort of like what happened with Steelheart. Michael Matijevic was extremely talented as a vocalist but grunge was coming on the scene. They had some great songs that never received radio airplay.

MA2: My favorites seem to come from Britain.

BA: I'll go with Carolina. I went to a catered pig roast in North Carolina and it was one of the best barbecue meals I ever ate!

MA: i love deadly metal plenty instrumentally even if the vocals get somewhat demanding. yet, impressive riffage and funky licks. 10,000 enthusiasts has solid riffs and licks too, even if it should be a lot cooler in the journey that they kicked it up a notch and kept the vocals more desirable aggressive. a twin of God has a peculiar feeling which I went to describe yet i won't be able to. that is catchy, yet except that and the intro+outro there is no longer some thing too exciting about it. I do exactly like the album conceal even if. supply Me a demonstration is fairly extremely solid. i love the way it progresses both instrumentally and vocally. extremely cool solo too. Atlantis starts off with an extremely weird and wonderful riff. The music sounds like it ought to've been solid yet grew to change into out extremely messy. MA2: Judas Priest. in some situations it has worked, in some situations it did not. MA3: particular. Sorry i have not been answering any. that is in simple terms that hair metal isn't some thing i'm too keen on. possibly your Qs can replace that. BA: you have not lived until eventually you've tried some Lahori fried fish.

Still got to fill in the blanks from yesterdays if it is still open.... been on the phone for 2 hours with the freaking unemployment commission.. and working on 3 hours sleep... gaaaaaah! work with me on this would ya?

    Thanks.....

    *EDIT*

MQ2- Well.. I think that depends highly on the Genre. But.. my Music collection is largely split between Sweden and Finland. At least for Metal, I think they reign supreme.

    BQ- North Carolina (Lexington) Style.

Have sampled the BBQ from across the country.. and those heavy tomato and or mustard based sauce don't hold a candle to that tangy vinegar zing of proper Carolina Style.

(one of the few things to make 7 years in NC bearable)

PS- as a food fanatic.... and chef myself... I heartily endorse this combo of Metal and Food.......

@JP.. would love to try it to compare. Kansas City has a great tradition of BBQ to be sure, I just find it a little heavier than I prefer.. not usually very subtle, ya know? Still.. done right it is great.
